Im Laurus, the name I go by on any pagan, spiritual or similar online community. I have named myself after Laurus Nobilis, the Bay Tree, after a meditation vision I had which strongly featured the plant. This certainly looks like a huge community here, lots of into. I look forward to posting and contributing to this place. I am 22, currently living in England with my dad and brothers (yes, still sigh). I am an artist, working with digital, acrylic paints and colour pencil, and hoping to make my first art sale within a month or two. Dragons are my speciality. Spiritually I have been exploring things since I was in my early teens - mostly energy work at the time, though that inevitably branched off into many other areas since then. In terms of experience, I don't really have all that much. Most of the really significant stuff I have experienced were spontaneous things that I had no conscious control of, or things I did when I wasn't all that aware of what I was doing. Even though I have branched out a lot, I would still say I am most versed with energy work - channelling, healing, some psionics (psychokinesis and some extra sensory stuff), crystals and basic energy manipulation. In the past I have practised weather control, though I don't really mess with that anymore, not for a good three years now and can't see myself taking it up again any time soon either. I do see myself as Pagan, but beyond that I couldn't say. I do have a love of the Asatru (Norse Religion), and if I were to chose one Deity as my favourite, it would be Odin, no argument there. Yet, at the same time I draw much from many other areas of the world, many bits and pieces from all over. With all that bouncing around, it's not fair to call myself true Asatruar right now - though that may change - so I simply call myself Pagan. Looking forward to seeing you all on the boards, Laurus.
